By downloading, installing, or using TanUp ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TanUp provides personalized tanning routine recommendations based on:

• Your skin type and tanning goals
• Real-time UV index data
• Scientific tanning research
• Progress tracking and analytics

3. Health and Safety

WARNING: UV exposure carries health risks, including:

• Sunburn and skin damage
• Premature aging
• Increased risk of skin cancer
• Eye damage

By using this App, you acknowledge these risks. You should:

• Consult a healthcare professional before starting any tanning routine
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Use appropriate sun protection
• Monitor your skin for changes
• Seek medical attention if you notice any skin abnormalities

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your skin type and health
• Use the App responsibly and at your own risk
• Follow recommended safety precautions
• Not rely solely on the App for medical decisions
• Not use the App if you have medical conditions that contraindicate UV exposure

5. Subscription Terms

Premium Features:

• Weekly subscription: Auto-renews weekly
• Yearly subscription: Auto-renews annually with 3-day free trial

Billing:

• Payment charged to Apple ID/Google Play account at confirmation
• Auto-renewal occurs 24 hours before period ends
• Manage/cancel in App Store/Play Store account settings
• No refunds for unused subscription time

Free Trial:

• Yearly subscriptions include a 3-day free trial
• Cancel anytime during trial to avoid charges
• Trial available once per user

6. Cancellation

To cancel your subscription:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Android: Play Store → Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality in the App are owned by TanUp and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• Accuracy of UV data or recommendations
• Specific tanning results
• Safety of any tanning routine
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TANUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any health issues or injuries resulting from UV exposure
• Sunburn, skin damage, or other UV-related harm
• Inaccurate recommendations or data
• Lost data or app malfunctions

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TanUp harmless from any claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Age Requirement

TanUp is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 18 should obtain parental or guardian consent before using the App. By using TanUp, you confirm you meet these requirements.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
